Rolex 24 http://www.daytona24hr.com/ is coming to my neck of the woods and this is always a great time. It's a 24 hour race so you can come and go at your leisure and check out the fast cars and pretty girls. A dinner meet nearby and then meet inside for the night racing is SOP.

Utilize the GRM tent and parking, it's just really easy and it's nice to have a home base. We usually break into groups spread around the track and check out the race on our own accord.

Last year was a blast but bringing a parka though and a bundle of wood for the camp fire.

 

Definitely IN! I'm pretty sure i'll have Christina there for a good part of it. I'll be staying at a friends place nearby though. But, i'll be sure to bring something to curl up with in case i feel like sticking it out all night in the infield

Not sure about everyone else ... but, Friday is a GREAT day to watch some budget racing! So much access on Friday too ... you can pretty much go ANYWHERE you wanna go on Thursday or Friday seeing how most of the racers are privateers with production type cars

 

I am in. I already ordered my Grassroots motorsports ticket. Waited to long last year and could not get into the infield till the crowd thined.

i'm on the phone with the track/ticket agent now ... the guy said that there are about 180 GRM tickets left! So, if any of you have any interest in getting a BETTER ticket at a BETTER price ... this is it!


fyi ... they are currently $99 each plus a $7 per ticket transaction fee.


I'll bet we could easily get GRM to hold a section for us if we get enough people to purchase these tickets

 

I'll definitely be there!!! Can't wait for the kick off of race season!!!! I always look forward to exciting racing and standing out in the cold and rain..........it has rained at least one day of the race weekend for years straight. =)
