Talking Paintball!

We are talking the Saturday after Thanksgiving (possibly Sunday if the weather doesn't hold up).

I have contacts and it will be cheaper than normal for both field and balls.

I haven't played in a while but I used to be hooked and played 2 days a week rain, shine, hot or cold.

This will be a bit more extreme than your usual field type open play.

The field is by TMS

Naw, its more fun in the cold.

The guns all run on compressed air now so the liquid CO2 isn't an issue. And you wear more clothes so you don't feel the hits as well. As a matter of fact a lot of times you have to be called out cause you're hit and didn't know it.

And if the cold's an issue you probably don't need to be playing with this bunch anyway.

What type of course is this? Like in the woods or is this more speed ball? Can we bring our own guns and paint? How exactly will it be more extreme?

The course has woods and speedball. I prefer woods to speedball.

You can bring your own guns. I'm pretty sure you can bring your own paint or at least you'll be able to if you play with us.

It will be more extreme just due to the level of play. The core group will have all played for years or even decades.

Although if you know of anybody with their own paintball equipment, see if you can borrow their gun. The one time I went I had a great time, but the rental guns were rubbish. The paint balls got a wicked spin when shot, and curved off in random directions each time. (Or maybe that was the effect of way too much alcohol the night before? ) I literally could not hit a two-foot wide test target from 40 feet away.

(Oh, and wear thick clothing. Good thing it's cold these days. )

And don't ever EVER take your goggles off. I have a friend who cannot see out of one eye because he did that for a brief moment.
