I'm going to want to do some springs very soon - I have a stock suspension '07 that will be running some Volk GR-A 18" wheels.
A couple of questions:
Do you think '05 shocks are an improvement or are they the same spec as the 07's? Mine only have 10K of street miles, so it's not like they're worn out.
The other thing: for a DIY install, is this a major PITA-saving setup having the springs already mounted? I'm pretty capable doing my own wrenching, but I don't have any kind of suspension tools like a spring compressor.
I understand the Espelir are a nice setup that are pretty close to stock.

They are the same shocks as the 07. As for the install it would be a lot easier install if the springs are already mounted on shocks.
