MsP is considering going to this. Not with the car. Fly to Tampa and take a few days to relax with the +1. Plant City is only 30 minutes from there. Any Vintage peeps interested??

I might be up for this if more Vints sign up. 9 hours for me. Pretty much 95 and 4 and I'm there. Easy route. Where's Dean and Martha? Or Vyktor? No excuse, they live in Florida.

I'd go if Dean and Martha, and Flintstone Mike alng with the other FL folks are going to be there. It's a little over 9 hrs for me, but I can make it in a long day -- with the super charger on boost!

You're the same distance as me. Why do I always visualize Texas being about 8,000 miles away? Could it be the time it took me 12 hours to cross the giant state?

That would be . Looks like a fun meet! Trying to see now where to stay in/around Tampa, and stuff to do outside of the meet.

Welcome all!

If I can assist with things to do, places to see etc. (outside of the Supermeet of course) Please let me know.

We of course have a group rate at a local (Plant City) hotel however if you are looking for a place closer to the beach or Disney or Orlando attractions in general just let me know I we can make some suggestions.

The Florida State Fair will be going on beginning that week and Plant City will be gearing up for the annual Strawberry Festival. As mentioned the Disney & Orlando attractions are very close by, Cape Canaveral is a great place to visit, Gulf Coast beaches are my preference, Tampa will have just hosted the Super Bowl, there is a great Aquarium, and some night life in Channel side and Ybor City areas.

Normal weather for early February is avg. High Temp 72, avg. Low Temp 52, Top Down weather for sure
