Default Check your motor mounts

These just came out of a friends car i'm working on today... thankfully i had some spares from my car, but he had no idea that this problem was there, just that after a track day, the car had a few more vibrations at idle than normal...

The car only had 89k miles on it... 83k of which were by a girl who used to own the car... it only has about 6k of miles under the current owner, most of which racing, and driving to races though... but still, not many 'rough' miles necessarily.

edit:

Solve it.

I was surprised to see only 2 lower mounts on this motor. Because there is only 2 of them i can see how they may fail more often than other types.

EDIT: mine were fine on my 108k mile motor ... even after the accident/impact. strange

Both of mine looked like that. Ben if you remember I called you to see if you had some. Funny thing is, I would have never known they were broken if I didnt have to pull the subframe to get the control arms cut out after the bushings froze up.
