Default 2009 Asura/LPI Racing S2000 racecar build thread

Cancelled. Sorry guys, I bought another car. I'll post on it shortly.

See my part out thread.

Long story short, the motor fit was an issue with the steering rack. It can be done, and would be ok for drag racing or the street, but I don't think you would want to road race it. The RX7 is bolt together, so it's just easy. This gets me back on the track for this season.

No rest for the weary

If a 4 cylinder is good, wouldn't two 4 cylinders be twice as gooder?

And should be on it's way shortly.

Car will be at Asura's new shop on Tuesday December 23rd.

And so the fun begins.

General build Specs

LS1 V8
T56 Transmission
Speartech wiring harness
Custom 1 3/4" Asura Design headers
Dual 2.5" exhaust with x pipe

Upgraded rear end - Leaning toward Ford Cobra IRS 8.8"
Axles, hubs, driveshaft to be determined. Driveshaft Shop can do it, but I've heard a lot of horror stories lately.
what is the racing plans this season. Is this part of the strategy for 09 ?

His shrink said it was a deep-seated manifestation of separation anxiety

After all the hp vs. torque bench racing drama from the end of last season, Bill got inspired.

I had no idea Anderson Sr. was a 928 guy. What's he packing under the hood?
