S to Z
In the next month or so I am going to be selling My01 to buy an 04-06 Z. What should does everyone think the asking price should be? I have seen a few 01/02's with 100k miles asking 12,000 or so. I think that is high IMO.
My01
100k Miles
Custom pearl paintjob with red/black interior
OEM Hardtop with IIGQ4U brackets
OEM painted wheels
OEM front lip
OEM rear spoiler
Invidia V3 exhaust (will remove if needed)
Pioneer headunit, Alpine 2 channel amp powering Infinity components
15 percent tint
Exterior condition - minor blemishes all over the car (its a black car - not exactly going to stay perfect) but no huge cracks/dings; Painted OEM wheels which will be touched up to go back to near flawless condition
Interior condition - Great condition except a 4-5" tear on my drivers side carpet, which can be covered up by my floormats; Standard broken drivers side bolster and wear on the upper bolster as well
Motor runs perfect. Oil has been changed every 2500 to 3000 miles. I have to install a new clutch master cylinder and I will be changing all fluids (tranny, diff etc.) Tires have about 40-50% remaining. Brakes/Rotors are starting to show wear and I am getting a clicking from the rear (either axle nuts or the diff)
Here are pics:

I am realistically trying to get at the least 9500 for the car - preferably 10500. Does anyone think this is realistic?

10500 sounds realistic....especially with the hardtop.
Also, you could sell the hardtop desperately and just sell your car at a lower price.
btw, I'm also interested as to how you felt the Z compared to the S. I've driven both and was curious as to why you felt like switching.

yeah my old roomate had a Z. There are things I like about the Z and things I like about the S. I just am sick of the cramped S2000. The Z is a perfect size for me. I also want something that actually has torque.
I was debating between an STi and a Z/G, but the 350 looks soooo sick when modded right. I can also get an 04-06 Z with 25-40k miles in the 16-17 range.

Yeah I took my car in for a trade-in and they tried to give me 5800 dollars. They are OUT of their minds.
I just hate the G interior. Exterior wise I like both, but a Nismo kit, Nismo v1 wing, the new rota SVNs made specifically for the Z, and a Nismo exhaust with high flow cats is just a great option for me haha.
