I am about to purchase the new SOS SC system for my S2000. I will need to have the car tuned as I will be going with either the Hondata k-pro or the AEM-FMS, depending on local tuners experience with these systems.
Any input on local tuners would be appreciated.

 

I know Jay at Carter Racing in Savannah is AEM certified, but he's good with Hondata too. I'd give them a call first since they're local. If you want to travel then id call stage six motorsports in Jacksonville, FL and set up a appointment with Mase.

 

hello i would go with Stage six nothing against carter but i have had alot of bad luck in savannah been here 7 years and not a place that i would send you to with that much time and money in your ride bro>>i have the vortech kit on my car and my next step is to get a standalone and take it to Mase i have heard that he is the man >>>

 

yeah im with Eli on this one.... carter could do it but with shady worksmanship, bad tunning that happend to my prelude, and long long VERY long waiting times..... i would just go up a state or down a state.... florida has a lot to offer and there is a few shops in SC too...

 

That's a big negative Ghost Rider. Mase doesn't work with Stage 6 anymore. They don't even have a dyno.

 

I know Mase who was at stage6 is the man as far as tuning s2000's is concerned. they used to have him fly to Uk to tune s2000's there!


are you just needing to get it tuned of the kit installed?

 

That car had way more problems then just the tune... They do good work, just about every local car has been tuned by them. Id say stay away if you were tuning some 600hp s2000, but a simple supercharger would be cake work for a tuner.

They do waranty work, and im sure if the problem was tunning related they woulda been more than happy to fix it..

 

Carter Racing! thats where i go and wouldnt go anywhere else.. Im actually gonna be heading that way soon for another tune on the racecar..
