So I'm doing a run through on my car and I thought I would do like everyone and post up the progress. Here's some before pictures from about 1 year ago



That is how I bough the car two years ago. Plain stock w/T1R Sparrow Exhaust.. That was it.
I race in AS Class in Autocross, so not much really changed over a long period of time, but the season just ended and I will be moving to Japan before the next season is half way over so car class is no longer a concern to me. Mind you I am on a budget but here are some items that I have acquired over time.

I broke the shift rod trying to get the old shift knob off (Yes I work out)


So I got an NSX-R shift knob from my friend Rob (MashimaroNSX) and I also have THE SHORTEST SHIFTER EVER.. I swear breaking it was the best thing that could have happened. Everyone go saw yours in half.

I also bought a Sparco Racing Seat for the drivers side. I will purchase a matching passenger one, or delete the passenger seat altogether.. I still haven't decided.



I decided to paint the car today as well, since the OG paint is 8 years old and the hardtop is a few shades off, I figured it all needed to match properly.. here's some of what the GF and I got done today!

The car is really straight, just tons of rock chips which are making me crazy!!!

But some of the guys in my local club talked me out oof it and said this was a much better option ----

I think this is all I have for now. tomorrow (in 6 hours) I'll continue sanding down the car, disassembling, and whatever it takes to get it painted and back on the road.. keep in mind. .I race this car a lot so I'm not worried that the paint comes out perfect 10, and all that. A couple other things I didn't mention. I'm running Koni Yellows, and I will drop those to the lower perch at some point.

I also am replacing the H emblems with a pair of these except in Silver.


and the S2000 emblems on the side are gone in favor of these.



Just a nod to my hardtop which set me back a grip anyway.. that's all I got. feel free to comment, criticize, laud.. what have you.

 

Right on, I've always been a fan of that lime green metallic.

 

yah, I'm pretty glad it was pointed out to me because I was an inch away from painting it the cartoon green.

Bump for update alert. Haha. I just have to finish walking home 12 more miles since no one I know can give me a lift and I still haven't seen a bus. Oh well. iPhone walking ftw. Can't wait to post the pics!
