Default New color top (now a couple of installed pics)

Ok, so lets begin with this.....

I have been wanting this top for a while and have searched for months (no joke) for a picture of one installed. Everytime I have seen a topic with gray top in it or something to the effect of a different colored top the conversation always turns to the infamous blue top and the original topic is lost.

With that said I said screw it, someone has got to be the first or at least the first in a while. So I ordered the damn thing. Unfortunately I won't have a free chance to install it until the end of the month. But when it's done there will be a photoshoot.

And opefully it looks good too or I will be

PLUG : To anyone who cares the top was bought from Vic at topsonline.com and is the ez-on brand.
If anyone needs a top I would highly recommend them as they are a sponsor on here and his customer service is amazing. I have sent him question at night on the weekend and he responds within minutes sometimes. He also sent me out a swatch at no cost. Great guy to deal with.

A couple of points before anyone asks:
1. I will not be doing a writeup as there is at least one very good one on here.
2. I will be reviewing the fit and finish and temperature range of the rear defroster compared to the oem.
3. This is not my first rodeo, I am a BMW master tech and have replaced several soft tops, I don't care what brand they are they suck to do

Well here is the picture of it laying over, I am excited and a little nervous.
You only get a rough idea of what it looks like and not the full picture so near the end of this month we will see.

*****Also*****
If you don't like it or think it will look horrible, fine we are allowed to have opinions.
If you want to post that opinion fine, I encourage it.
All I ask is that we don't have any jackass flaming.
But like I said if you like it say it, if you don't say it, or just wait to see the finished product then decide.

Thanks for looking,
Tommy

It does eem to match the silerstone pretty well, but it's really hard visualize without it completely on.

As of right now it looks like it will be going in in 8 days. not tomorrow but next Saturday after I order the straps for the frame. Mine are all streched to hell.

I want to see it finished, I personally like the way it looks with a black top, but maybe I'll like it grey too?

I think it'll look awkward depending on the shade...

In for pics though!

Looks like it will look pretty good on a Sebring or Silverstone.
