Default Weight

Ok, I figure its time for something positive in this forum.

Lets try something we can all help each other with, either by congratulating or offering tips on living healthier lets try to keep the thread positive

Ill start

I have always fought excess weight frankly I love to eat. But this year I made the mental decision to make a solid attempt to live healthier. I feel that I am doing pretty decent. My total weight loss goal is 65lbs and in 70 days I have been able to lose 36lbs and I feel so much better. I feel like for the first time ever I have a grasp on what a serving size is and its affect on my weight.

I count every calorie I eat daily and use This site to do it. They have an app for my ipod and its really easy to track what I eat now.

It feels good having energy and just feeling good.

Now I know there are some in here that want to lose weight, some have lost and some are currently losing, and some are just in good shape.

What are your goals , does anyone have any tips to share?

I do want to congratulate Ty I think Ty mentioned he dropped 100lbs and Jeff 30 lbs plus they both have done excellent and Im positive are feeling better

Dimitry and Lainey 2 of our resident fitness buffs

Bill for starting last I knew Bill said he was down 4 lbs

Jerry I dont know what you have lost Jerry but I do know you are rehabbing the knee and are making strides

And everyone else I know we have some fitness buffs in here.

I dont mean to miss anyone so post up your stories and tips

if you want to read some stories of people that have lost 100lbs plus

Clicky

I work with a lady that was seriously obese she is less than 5 feet and in the past year has gone from 425lbs down to 276lbs what an inspiration she is. When you lose 150lbs that an amazing thing to see.

^ You can do it Steve if you want to, but you have to want to. And you dont have to lose a ton of weight to feel better even 10lbs is a huge difference on anyone.

at my classification, not Dimitry's.

Not quite, but I appreciate the thought.

I try to maintain my weight, not easy as the Vintage age creeps up. I fight with a few extra pounds, I can't say no to chocolate.

Move more, eat less. That's it in a nutshell.

Sounds easy, but not always so. Sometimes it goes like this. Tuesday walked four miles after work. Wednesday, eat a kid's meal with burger and fries for lunch. Talk about counter productive.

I've lost about six pounds now. Too many business lunches, dinners and cocktail hours. I'm up to 40 minutes and 2.6 miles on the tread mill. I need to get to one hour and five miles.
