Default Anyone Play Racing simulators?

So this winter I have been playing GTR2 and GT Legends to keep myself sharp for the season to come. I have a nice Logitech G25 setup with my computer hooked up to my tv, and i must say i have been having a blast!! I just wanted to know if anyone else has done this to keep sharp since GTR2 is one of the best simulators out there that i have found. I know this is quite random but i have less than 2 weeks till my 1st race of the season and im getting really antsy!! lol

I have GT5 Prologue and GTR Evolution. Not really a fan of either, as I don't feel like it improves my real-world driving.

I have the G25 wheel. In GT5 Prologue simulation mode, I feel like it is too forgiving and lets you get away with abrupt inputs that would make a car spin. GTR Evolution is much better, but it's really frustrating to play because the programming doesn't convey the G-forces through force feedback as well as GT5 Prologue and therefore has a much steeper than necessary learning curve. I really liked Enthusia's method of portraying G-forces, and I feel like it made up for the poor force feedback... maybe I just suck at driving games... and driving

I play Forza 2 on the Xbox. Hardcore sim purists would turn up their noses at it, but I find it's enough to keep me from getting too rusty.

I tried iRacing after they did a big advertising push with the SCCA, but found it unplayable -- I'm a pretty decent driver in real life, but I had to struggle mightily with iRacing's beginner car just to complete a lap without crashing, let alone actually attacking the track. My understanding is that they have some incompatibility with the Logitech G25 wheel which accounts for the car's ill behavior, but I figure that's their problem, not mine, so I canceled my subscription.
