Unhappy $185 Shipped Ebay Exhaust Review

So I bought this exhaust from Ebay and decided to give it a try, they claim it is an N1 style exhaust but looks more like a Megan, anyways, it took 5 days to get here, the packaging was excellent, and the welds look good but a tad sloppy here and there but nothing to concern about. Came with new gaskets and bolts =)

Yup, $185 with free shipping

BUT there's a catch! Exhaust needed to be modified because it was hitting against where the differential and the axle meet.

So where the bar right beneath it was, I had to drill an existing hole and another hole to put in a U bolt, bolted it down and put a piece of rubber in between the touching metal. Worked perfectly and the exhaust doesn't move at all.

For the price, I think it was worth it, though im still waiting on how it will sound with my stock cat on.

Over-all, I give it a 7/10

Soundclip:

My setup: Short ram intake, Megan test pipe

I'm not too crazy about the U-bolt. The hangers are rubber so the exhaust can move with the engine. Keep a close eye on the welds. Good luck.

i used to run a 3" ebay n1 style exhaust in my 400whp civic and it worked and sounded really nice. well the turbo quiet the exhaust down a lot. i might consider this exhaust when the time comes.
