Default Honda S2200 for MY04 (maybe)

Please don't flame me if this info has been posted before or if you strongly disagree with the info below, I'm just acting as the messenger.

My brother was talking to a Honda engineers and he said that a S2200 model is in the works. He couldn't give an exact timeframe for the release, but mentioned that it would probably be for MY04. Here are the details that he said it would have:

- Same basic body styling as the S2000
- 2.2 liter engine (4 cylinders)
- 280 hp
- upgraded intake and exhaust
- bigger wheels and tires (18" probably)
- updated interior

These are all the details that he had, but I'll try to get more.

ESS Twenty Two Hundred.

Personally, while I wouldn't be supprised with a power output change in 04, I don't think they are gonna move away from the 2L engine.

Just my opinon.

On that reasoning, we would still be driving around S's with 600cc motors...!

I have no idea what Honda will do in this regard...in fact, however, I would be surprised if they DIDN'T up the displacement to 2.2...it does make the name kind of hard to say. But I would welcome the new motor...the F22C...that's easy to say!

Yup. Silverstone is back. White with tan interior is the newbie color interior. All else is the same.
