Leaving Elmer's, we had a good ride with twisties - compliments of Doug (one of his favorite local routes). After leaving Sandy we encountered drizzle which gradually turned into rain.
Further on, we got snow!

According to our bus driver, yesterday it was 77 degrees. On Thursday it was 88 degrees! Unfortunately all we could muster was about 45 degrees and wind today.
Following lunch we shuttled back up to the casino where everyone split off to gamble, go horseback riding and miniature golf. The less-adventurous of us headed back to Portland.

Thanks to Aaron for putting this all together for us. In spite of the wintery day, we all had a good time. AND, we are looking forward to next month's drive to Lake Chelan.
We got to see Aaron, Garret and Amy, today!! They decided to carve up the columbia historic highway and we passed them on our way home from the grocery store, so We E-brake U-turned and chased them down when we caught them we all pulled over and chatted a bit it was really nice to see you guys!
