May 16th - Autopark Honda Meet - Cary, NC
Ok guys, this started from something small and has ballooned into an excellent meet. Lets all try to make it out and represent the S2K community and hopefully gain some new members!!
When: Saturday, May 16th, 8am-2pm
Where: Autopark Honda in Cary (Click link for website and directions)
What: Autopark Honda's Customer Appreciation Day, Dent Day, Car Meet/Show, Vendors and MORE!!!
Join us on Saturday, May 16th for Autopark Honda's Customer Appreciation Day. Autopark Honda is setting aside a section of the event solely for members of S2KCA and S2KI to park/show their cars and their will be numerous vendors on site to display their products and services including:
Dentbusters
Paintless dent removal services. Dings, dents removed at a fraction of body shop prices. Nick will be availabe to estimate and repair your dents and dings at a discounted group rate for S2KCA and S2KI members only!!! Preliminary estimates from Nick were somewhere around $50 for the first dent up to $100 for multiple panels (to the whole car depending on severity). If time/space is not available at the time of the meet, Nick will be able to estimate and set up appointments for another time.
Auto Interiors and Tops Inc
Auto Interiors and Tops has provided Auto Interiors and Convertible Tops replacement/repairs to the Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Garner and the Triangle area since 1973. No matter what type of vehicle you have, when it comes to upgrading or repairing your interiors, covers, convertible tops, they are the best in town. A well established trim and upholstery shop, they specialize in auto interior carpet, convertible top replacement and repair, sunroof installation and accessories. For over 33 years our family business has been built on reputation and our specialized staff with only the best skill sets. I have personally worked with Tommy Gardener of Auto Interiors and Tops Inc numerous times in my years in the car business and can tell you they are hands down THE best when it comes to tops and interiors. They will be available for estimates for repairs, replacement and any of your interior or top needs.
Majestic Solutions
Majestic Solutions offers many different detailing products in and out and supplies the majority of the area's automotive detailing, sales and service centers with the products they use to restore, protect and enhance your vehicle's image. Their interior and exterior products for all vehicles are only the highest of quality and range from the do-it-yourself range to the fully professional detailer level. Majestic Solutions will be on site to showcase their products with demonstrations as well as to answer questions.
There will be hot dogs, refreshments, music, a muscle car show and much much more. This is an excellent opportunity to bring out your S and let it shine. We'd like to try to use this as an opportunity to gain some new members and grow the club by being seen during this special event. Please make it out and join your fellow S2000 enthusiasts for this event!
Note: Due to the nature of this event and the parking area set aside, once the cars are parked, they must remain where they are until the event concludes around 2pm. Cars will not be permitted to move or come and go during the event due to spectators walking around the event. Autopark Honda has asked that all club participants arrive at 8am for setup (the event begins at 8:30am). If you are attending, please arrive on time at 8am to get the cars parked together. Again... once you are parked you may not leave until the event concludes at 2pm!!
Autopark Honda has been very generous to set aside space just for us and will be letting their customers know that we will be attending this event. We are very fortunate that they have made us such a special part of their event and we need to show them our support and appreciation. Lets make this a big turnout guys!! All the available support is appreciated! Flyers/emails will be sent out to nearly 20,000 customers announcing that we will be attending this event. Lets make it a blowout!!!
All of those able to attend, please post up. I will submit a car count to Kevin (Honda's Service Manager) by the 8th of May so that he can set aside parking. If you do not plan to stay for the entire event, please do not post that you will. I'm not saying that you can not attend without parking with us, but if you do not plan on parking with us from 8am to 2pm, please DO NOT post that you will. I want to give accurate numbers when I submit the final count.

you know i'm in.. altho i might not be parking with you guys..
i was talking with Kevin and since my car needs a detail bad anyways, he mentioned he might try and get my car as the "demo" car for the detailing stuff so that by the end of the day it'll pretty much look brand new all for the cost of nothing
Let me also say that after talking to Kevin today, he seemed REALLY EXCITED to get our group out there, the dealerships next door (VW and Mercedes) will also be having customer appreciation days at the same time so some of the VW clubs and what not will probably be out there, and Kevin mentioned that he wanted to have the Honda one be the biggest of them all!!
So come on everyone and lets get as many S2K's out there as we can! There will also be a DJ out there and hot dog vendors and what not, if should be an all around good time!!

Wow...sounds like a great gathering for sure. Mark me as tentative. I just wrapped up our annual Spring Dragon event (WTD7) and I have a stupid creepy work training seminar this whole week... Looks like the week of the 16th would be a good time for me to visit the Raleigh market.
