Default Linea Corse Lemans.....who would buy these?

I was talking to Dan @ Wheeldude.com about these.......

Wheeldude Lemans wheel

18x8.5 in a more S2K friendly offset ( say +45 )

Anybody interested ?

We would need 3-4 people to get them made and if you wanted different colors it would need to be 3-4 people per color

Color options

Hypersilver, Black, Gold

post up opinions please

I'd be interested in 18" Hypersilver, also would like 18x8 and 18x9, hubcentric if possible.

For offset, I'd be looking at 55 for the front so I can run a 225/40/18 without resorting to rolling/camber. The actual LM is a 50.

For the rear, a 55 offset would allow a 265/35/18; I would still do a 255/35/18 but might jump to 265 if it were 9.5" wide. Again, actual LM offset is 55 on the 9.5".

I have the actual LM's in that fitment and no problems rear a little roll if you are dropped but really nice flush.. These would have saved me a whole bunch!

But you would not have the quality of the BBS forged wheel.

No Roll with 1" drop with out issues. If done and available, I'd sell the works and go with those in 18".

True.......

but then again at $900 a wheel for new BBS LMs....... I can save $2500.....or spend that money on other parts......

I've done the whole expensive/"quality" wheels thing (2 sets of Volk Racing wheels)..... I don't have the budget for that anymore....or rather I would perfer to spend the money other things like EMS or Suspension.

Right now the wheel will be 18x8.5 only since that is the set up that is available..
Offset is easy to change.....we just need to decide on one along with color...

The other sizes they have are in 19".......and i wouldn't go that big on an s2k.

If we really had alot of people interested I suppose we could have them build 18x8, 18x9....

I will ask them how many they would need.
