New Mods **11/28/2009 UPDATES**
Howdy Folks!
Just bolted up my new [to me] SSR Comp-C's in 18x8, 18x9 (225/255 Pirelli P-Zero ). Additional mods are Espelir ASD springs, OEM bumper plugs, OEM rear wing, Rick's S badges and a full Ti Amuse dual.
The wheel/tire combo was ~4lbs lighter each front and a whopping ~8lbs rear!
Enjoy!

I scored them through a GP for like $170 and did the install myself so it's a pretty cost effective mod. It doesn't feel any stiffer, no bottoming out, and dropped it about 1.25-1.5"
The ASD model is (as I understand it) progressive rate like OEM. Some people say aftermarket springs on stock shocks can create premature wear on them, but I think with progressive rates and not a radical drop it's nothing to worry about (I have like 12K miles on my car). I also figured for $170 even if I have to replace the shocks in like 2 years it's still pretty cheap.
Thanks! Yeah, it was amazingly light vs. the OEM and has a nice, deep "tuned" tone.

How was the install? I can imagine it being too terrible.
