Default ASM 70mm Single Exhaust -08 + ASM Header -07 Dyno

We just dyno tested the ASM 70mm Single Stainless Exhaust -08 and ASM Exhaust Manifold -07. The runs were all done within minutes of each other on the same dyno and same car at Church Automotive Testing in Southern California. The test car was 100% stock, OEM Cat, OEM intake, no engine mods, not even a radiator cap; as stock as it rolled off the assembly line. 4-5 passes were performed for each configuration and the median plot was used.

Results:
ASM 70mm Single Exhaust + ASM Exhaust Manifold -07 combo = 18.5 HP / 15.4 lb-ft Gain @ 6200rpm
ASM 70mm Exhaust alone (OEM Header) = 14 HP / 12.6 lb-ft Gain @ 5600 rpm

Not bad considering the ASM 70mm Single Exhaust is by far the quietest and most refined sounding exhaust available for the S2000 at the moment.

Baseline vs ASM 70mm Single Exhaust + ASM Exhaust Manifold -07

Notes from the run above

We're willing to offer free installation and free before & after dyno runs for anyone who has a nearly stock AP2 S2000 that is interested in purchasing the setup

It doesn't matter if the dyno reads high or not, because the baseline plot would be higher than normal. The gains are factual because the basline plot and the modifications were done on the same dyno, on the same day. It cannot be any less biased that this, in my opinion.

i didnt state that it did matter. its not biased if they were back to back. my concern is either they have done a serious dyno recalibration compared to what #s ive seen come from them in the past. if it hasnt been recalibrated thats a very unhealthy s2k. awesome gains either way though

Stock AP1's do about 210-220hp peak on that dyno so it is on the low side but the car is a MY2000 so it's not bad for an AP1. It's the delta that we're most concerned with though.
