Default I'm gonna be due for a clutch

I've been experiencing some slippage these last few hundred miles and w/close to 49k it seems a bit premature but then again I have been driving a bit more aggressively wince getting my tune last september

So I've done some searching on the forum but it is hard finding something that applies to my setup:

-- 2005 AP2

-- daily driver w/for the most part light driving conditions but occasional spirited and aggressive driving

-- slight to moderate power upgrades (sri intake, full exhaust, vafc-ii, dyno tuned to 208.1 @ wheels) nothing that should increase the load drastically on the clutch

I'm looking for something that would have the same life as stock, if not longer and can handle the occasional beating it gets during spirited/aggressive driving...my old man seems to think that anything other tahn stock on my setup doesn't make sense because it may put too much stress on universal joints, etc, etc, etc...

I feel like I could use a little more bite since most people do find the clutch to be a tad weak even for stock setups (not talking fi of course)

From looking at different company websites I've noticed that the Clutchmasters stage 1 and 2 are applicable to the street w/little increase in pedal stiffness which is of course something that appeals to me since I do have to deal w/traffic

So to wrap up this novel I've just written I just want an opinion on what is my best option/choice taking into consideration that my needs are:

durability, slight improvement on grip, still being applicable for a daily driven car

p.s. of those of you w/AP2's with similar setups, have you found the need to change the flywheel after your first clutch...I'm thinking I'll probably have to get a new flywheel but what kinda wear have you guys experienced in the past

Also please don't hesitate to make a different clutch suggestion as I know I have most likely omitted certain ones that may be applicable to my setup/criteria

thanks in advance for the help!!!!

I considered most of those listed above. I went with the EXEDY OEM clutch kit + lightened flywheel.

You sure the slippage is not caused by the clutch delay valve? Or do you already have that removed from the slave cylinder?

never removed it but I would have felt slippage a lot earlier if that was the cause...I do have 49k and haven't felt it until this last 300-400 miles

not to hijack your thread, but has anyone used a Fidanza Clutch on their S?
2.1, 3.2 or higher?

I have used their flywheels before, but I dont know anyone whose had a fidanza clutch for a long time, and not on an S2000.

I havent tore into the trans yet, just purchased the parts & currently waiting for them to come in. The reason why I went with the EXEDY is because they are actually the guys who MAKE the OEM honda parts - and they sell it much cheaper. I have heard the guys who buy the OEM Honda one say that it has 'exedy' stamped on it. I'm not sure about the flywheel, since I havent tore it open but I dont want my clutch engagement point to change much, which will happen if you just 'resurface' a clutch. When I changed my camaro clutch, the flyhweel was just resurfaced, and I didnt like how it engaged, so I figured I wouldnt make the same mistake.
