Default Parking Brake

Can anyone tell me where the parking brake adjuster is located? From underneath the car, it seems to be located inside the cockpit area (console)?

Thanks,
Bob

Center console......need to pop out cover locater to the rear of the hand brake. From there it is a standard e-brake adjust. The brakes should lock between 9-13 clicks.....

Utah, I don't think that it could have been much easier. Just pop off the console cover, grab an open end 10mm wrench and tighten away. This took a whole ten minutes.

Thank you sir,
Bob

My dealer adjusted my parking brake under warranty, basically because it was barely good enough to hold my car on the driveway.

Now that the job is complete, the back two clips on my armrest let go and the back edges of the leather pad can lift up easily.

Anyone else experience this? Should I complain? Is there an easy fix?

I complained at the dealer as soon as I got my car back, and the tech came out to my car and pounded on it with his fist. He didn't make it worse, but he didn't make it better either

I tried looking under the leather pad without undoing the other clips. the chair gets in the way of vision. I move the seat the whole way up and lean it forward, still no way to see the clips, but I can feel them. I don't want to take it apart and make things worse (break one of the other 4 stronger clips / I have the shop manual), then again I don't want the the technician to use my car as a punching bag again.

I can see the clips mate with rectangular holes below. I didn't know if the holes were stretched or the clips were compressed. Once side holds reasonably well, the other you can feel go over a bump... but it's easy to dislodge it again.
