Default Project P

Been a little busy out in my shop and haven't been perusing here as often.
Bought some K16/16G Hybrids from European Performance Labs, and have been spending some time getting them in.
The hardest part of the job was the fuel pressure regulator change-out as there is just no room for fat hands.
Here's some pics for those who are interested....

More than jealousy I think its really cool that we have great people like Jeff on here.

Jeff - It would make me very happy to see your garage in person. Perhaps you could throw a garage party once the P Car mods are complete.

oh! and I love the P cars too. I'd love to get a Cayman someday (once I become a millionaire)

Very cool, congrats!

I also have to confess, I'm just not a P-car fan, but I do appreciate anybody who get's out there and tackles a project. I wish you the best of luck, and do indeed keep us posted.

My ex never wanted to play cars The Prelude was a relatively easy project and getting that done was like pulling teeth sometimes.

I wanted to bring car parts into the living room so we'd work on things instead of watch TV I was giving a on that idea

Thanks for the pictures Jeff. A little bit more of a project than an exhaust swap.. What are the expected gains? Is some sort of tuning required as well?

I hope that you and your family have been well.

Matt, miss you Bud.
Yeah, this project sucked, but it's done now and perfect. I also fixed a couple of things the factory missed, such as the exhaust strap not being routed through the portion of the "frame that carries it's mass. Germans drink beer while working I guess.
I did have a broken stud that attached a heat sheild by the intercooler on the right side. Although the other studs would have sufficed, I made a corse threaded stud from a woodscrew and took out the trusty Mig and fused metal with fire.

Here's some pics of the activity.
