Default Recommended clutch for NA guys

I need to replace my clutch on my MY00 with 64k miles. This is my daily driver. I will be tracking and auto crossing the car. I currently only have some bolt ons (mugen intake, 70mm T1R headerback), future will add a tuning device and build for some more NA power.

Thanks

I voted ACT PP, OEM disk, aftermarket flywheel (the Hardtopguy package, essentially).

The OEM PP is the weak link in the whole thing, and will not last under repeated heavy track useage. The OEM disk is strong, and you won't be putting down enough power to come anywhere near frying it; the aftermarket flywheel will allow you to rev faster and will decrease your rotating mass, which is a win/win on the track.

Are there any less extreme pressure plates. ACT is redesigning their plate so it is not so 'harsh' on the trust bearing etc.

suggestions?

There are plenty of guys making 230-250whp NA.

I threw the number in there for reference.

I put down 255whp and have been using an oem pressure plate and disk with a spoon flywheel. Haven't noticed any slippage.

I don't know if this is true of all setups, but with the track time on my car I never noticed any slippage on the clutch (the disk was fine actually), but the springs on the pressure plate were starting to become damaged because it wasn't strong enough to hold up under repeated hard useage. You couldn't feel it driving around, but when I had my engine out the mechanic said that the springs on the OEM PP were starting to become toast after 50k miles. Still a great setup for being OEM though, props to Exedy on that.
