Ok about a month back I was trying to part my Ek because I no longer felt safe around it, I have a jdm swap and in So Cal they're no longer legal and I thought to my self if a cop pulls me over and pops my hood I'm done with, and the other reason is theft I am super duper paranoid about the car I can't really take it anywhere without thinking someone's gonna jack me and plus you all know how it is......so I contemplated parting out the ek and getting an S2000, a close friend of mine offered to buy my engine, Recaros, and a set of sprint harts. So I thought to my self if I sell I will be well on my way to getting the S2K, some stuff happened and my friend ended up not being able to buy my stuff, now I had a bunch of new Ek parts lying around and I just said **** it I'm gonna build my Ek I don't care no more. A couple of days go bye and I put on my skunk 2 coilovers, ASR re-enforcement bar, ASR 24mm sway bar, ASR sway bar end-links, and skunk2 lower control arms, plus the car already had a set of Recaros, b20vtec engine, Carbing front and back strut bars, and a top fuel zero b+c pillar bar, and 5 lug and so I thought I was well on my way to Honda pimpin.

On Friday jun. 26 at around 5:50 me and a friend went to the bank, once again I felt all paranoid so I sat on a seat where I can keep an eye on the car everything was good no was even close to my car it became 6pm they closed the bank me and my friend are the last ones the along with the workers, my friend was talking to a bank guy got so I thought we were leaving, but he went up to a teller deposited some cash and went back to talk to the bank guy at this point I was like well we're almost gone and said to my self nothings gonna happen to my car and I went to take a seat in a spot where I could no longer see the car with in 2 minutes of that all of a sudden I hear my exhaust and I was like *nervous* so I run to the door and I see a black 90-93 4door accord parked in back of my car w/ 3 people in it and a 4th guy in my car, I try to run out there but the bank door was locked :hammer: it had a dead bolt that you had to turn like 4 times, so I finally get the door open and start running towards the car the car starts to move away slowly, I thought to my self im gonna break the window and hang on to the guys neck, right when I thought that he stalls the car and I'm like here's my chance I got like 4 feet away when the car starts up again and he books it, right at that moment I felt like crying, screaming kicking the air I panicked and didn't know what to do my friend comes running out the bank and he like SH!T, we had no ride and where see the car disappear we start calling other friends to get out and see if they could find the guys on the road.

We went to the bank and asked if they had video they said not outside :hammer: my friend gets there about 5 mins. later we start to loom for the car when one of my friends calls me and tells he is now on a high speed pursuit right besides him my friend that was at the bank with me told me "tell him to ram the car and don't let him get away" I thought to my self Nooooooooooooo but I told him anyways he said ok right when I told him that the guy in my ek starts ramming my friend w/ my car I felt like passing out, then I snapped and said **** it RAM his ass but they made my friend almost fly off the road, we're like 5 mins from where they're at doing bout 100 mph and it might as well have been 2 hrs. away because that's what it felt like, at this point my friend (from the bank) is on the phone w/ the cops, my friends (that just got rammed off the road) cousin who is w/ him is on the phone w/ the cops he is stopped, my ek is stopped, the accord is stopped, the guys in the accord start telling the guy just leave the car and lets bounce and they are also flashing gang signs at my friend, the guy in the ek was determined not to leave the car and booked it and this point my friend stopped chasing them cause he belived they where strapped.

we get to where he is at I get dropped off my friend goes out to keep looking for the car, my friend (that got hit) tells me they know the guy from school they know his name and last name, cops got there took our stories after we went looking for the car we hit all the known spots for stolen cars without any luck we had 5 cars looking in different places we looked, and looked, looked 14 hours went bye and I finally give up, went home thinking that's it next time I see my car it gonna be on bricks completely stripped or burned.
The next morning my friend (that got hit) woke up and took his cousin and a friend to go look for the car again he went to the area where he lost them because they all thought this guy ditched the car cause its too hot while searching they saw a tow truck w/ my car and pulled it over, guy said the cops had found it in an area we must have searched over 20 times but with no luck, so tow truck driver meets me up somewhere and I get my car back to my surprise the b20 is still there, Recaros are there, five lug is there so is my suspension and all my bars, they broke my a/c and stereo panel, took the cd player, and 2 cases of cd, my door speakers and my squash air freshener :hammer:

I'm so thankful to god that at least I got my car back and I have some down ass friends willing to help in a time of need all them were willing to ram my car if they saw it :hammer: and by the way this is what I know so far about the thief his name if Juan Carmona, he attended Coachella valley high school lives in thermal, Ca. is between 20-25 yrs old is a known tweeker I have to call the cops and see whats up I'll keep you guys informed

 

interesting story. wondering why you didn't try to install some kind of anti-theft system? you spent the bucks on the swap but not a proper anti-theft system?

Yeah, my wide-screen monitor is apparently not wide enough. Sucks about the car though.

 

You shoulda stole some nicer wheels instead of those RSX ones. Surprised they did not take them - on the bright side - at least they left you a 1/3 tasnk of gas

Ramming cars on a public freeway= major fail. It's just a car. Presumbably you have insurance?
