I installed FIAMM dual air horns in the stook over the weekend. I am very happy with the results. I now understand the earlier poster (Mingster?) who said he looked for every excuse to honk. These things sound great - the perfect complement to a roadster. [warm fuzzy moment] They remind me of the horns my dad had in his E-type Jag when I was growing up. [/warm fuzzy moment]

I ordered them from Duetto Motors at http://home.flash.net/~duetto/general/gencatalog.htm, $43 shipped. The gentleman I spoke with was very pleasant to deal with. He focuses on the Miata market. I think he might be amenable to a group buy if enough folks are interested.

I want to thank everyone on this site and at https://www.s2ki.com who posted information regarding the horn installation, as it made my task much easier. I would like to add a few comments to the database. Once I have the photos developed and scanned, I will post more info.

In the meantime, I do have one bit of advice. If, after successfully completing an air horn installation, you parade around the house exclaiming "I'm feeling horny, baby! Yeah!" in your best Austin Powers voice, I can assure you that your spouse will not think it nearly as funny the second (or third or fourth...) time you say it. If you get a laugh the first time, then behaaaaave and quit while you are ahead.

They sound much, MUCH better than the stock "meep, meep!" horn.

Plus, I think there is a real safety improvement. Living in the Suburban capital of the world, I am getting tired of playing dodge-the-deaf-SUV. I demonstrated them to one of my partners yesterday afternoon. His first comment: "F*ck, those are loud!" Then, he went on to say how great they sounded.

I stayed away from the double horn system and went right to the triple horn. The double horn sounds nice, while the triple is downright obnoxious. I don
