Default Legacy Owners

We went a bit off topic on the FREDS thread and the Legacy owners hijacked it!
Thought I start a proper Legacy thread for us all to wax lyrical on!

So I have a MY06 3.0R Spec B sports tourer, had it 3-4 months now and love it!
Always had a Subaru itch I needed to scratch!

Likes
Quick and stealthy
Interior quality (surpisingly!)
Enormous sunroof at low speeds
Grip grip and more grip
4WD on hte motorway in the pissing rain to everything else!
dash light up sequence
Finding a workshop manual for it!
Ride comfort vs handling
Great combination of a B road blaster and M way cruiser.

Dislikes
Does feel underpowered compared to my S though it still presses on better than most things around me at the time!
Likes a tipple at 26 mpg of 95 RON, though an LPG conversion is on the cards!
Enormous sunroof at low speeds
Can't replace the stereo with something better
Getting used to the 4WD "bog" off the lights
No reach adjustment on steering wheel! (Japs are too short!)

Now I want more power!
I'd love an S402 but would settle for a JDM GT SpecB
Anyone got any recommendations on the best way to import one!

Don't own one, but could be tempted; Subaru fanboy whore.

Litchfield seem to have a constant stream of Turbo4 spec Bs!

Yep they tend to get non Spec B GT's though and are as pricey as David Hendry
They had a nice WRC S402 edition awhile back
Looks like most of the BP5 JDM GT Spec B's are auto's

I starting to think about flogging the Elise again.

Current top of the list is exactly what you have Mikey, along with some form of caterfield to compliment it.

I am tempted.

2nd utilitarian vehicle to replace the Focus and to double as a towcar.

Going to have a look at one this w/e if we can find one local.

Thanks Mike-might take you up on that.

After worrying that the missus wouldn't like it because it looks ordinary she is waxing lyrical about the new Chrysler Sebring I give up..

A combo I can't recommend enough and I might have a Caterfield for sale if you're quick

I'm not sure I'm keen on the idea of a 4 cylinder turbo versions, I like the lazyness of the 6 but then I'm also happy with the auto 90% of the time. How things change.

I bought mine with 6k on the clock, I'm fast approaching 60k and I reckon I'll see over 100k.

I agree about the stereo, not one of it's strong points. I keep meaning to sort out an iPod adapter but the options are limited and I'm lazy. Could do with a hands free phone kit too.

And the dashboard disco is

Another Leggy owner here. 2.5 Sprtwagon SE (IIRC).

My previous beater was a JDM Impreza WRX, which was a great car, but 6 months ago we moved 300 miles north (and away from Kate's family). The Impreza was a lot of fun, but it's not a motorway car and with having the Exige plus starting a smallholding, we needed something more suitable.

Since the (13 year old) Impreza hadn't missed a beat, we looked at the Legacy and found a '54' plate car just after Christmas in a dealer in Swindon for
