Default ****UPDATE NEW PICSbroken waterpump pulley? **pics

[SIZE=7][COLOR=red]UPDATE!!! PAGE 2

Hey guys, i need some help here.

today i noticed a very obvious sound coming from under the hood. when i opened the hood the sound seemed the be coming from this pulley (i think its the waterpump pulley)

upon further inspection of this pulley i noticed that its partially cracked and that there are supposed to be 3 bolts holding it in place, and there are only 2.

I put up a few pics some show the crack better than others. I also included a video, that shows the pulley and theawful sound.

Is this pulley the culprit?? Has anybody else had this problem? if the pulley is the problem, is it difficult to replace? Is there a DIY on it?

and bolts ...

Hopefully you can get the remainder bolt off of the water pump, otherwise you might need that cover as well.

If I get a new water pump pulley from the dealer will it come with new bolts?

It looks like the head of the 3rd bolt broke off!! Once I remove the 2 remaining bolts and romove the pulley,will I be able to remove the stud of te 3rd bolt using pliers?

Is there a DIY for removing the WP pulley?

they don't come with bolts, but they sell the water pump pulley seperate from the pump(good new)

just pull the intake box for more working room, after that just take the accessories belt off.

we can't tell you anythign without you taking a picture, it could be sunk in, stripped or anything

Once I remove the 2bolts will the pulley come right off?

After I remove the pulley I guess that's when the belt will have enough slack to be removed, right?

the autotsension need about 5 seconds to take off the belt

if you don't know how to do any of this, bring it to a mechanic...before you break more stuff
