I thought we could all get together sometime at summit
point, but it looks like we will have to plan WAY WAY in
advance.

Currently the NOVICE group is on a waiting list until after
april 20th!!!!! (2 full months from now).

Luckily, i can get into group 2 almost up until the day
of the event

Anyone wanna plan ahead, there doesn't seem to be as many
Friday At The Track sessions as usual?

Getting married April 1 so March is out for me. I'd be interested in June. As I remeber (from my old days at the Right Track school) July and August can be REALLY miserable there.

 

i went last august..it was warm, but ok... i still hit 128mph down the straight. top up.

June 22d is a tentative go for me. When should we be thinking about deposits. etc?

BTW, I believe dbarnes was also trying to set up a FATT group sometime during in the spring/early summer and would probably be up for this.

FATT's are $150 and require a Snell95 or better helmet, but you can rent one at the track if you tell them when you register.

Deposits can be postponed or even refunded as they do have people who drive up there on Fridays and wait to see if someone doesn't show up or unregistered.

I can register anytime since I will be in Group 2, but the group 1 (first - 2nd time there guys) may want to call now.?

I am interested in any of the dates that you have listed.

It sounds like only the novice groups are filling up fast. Is this correct? I am also group 2 qualified and would be interested in attending one of the eariler FATTs if any group 2 slots are still open. Are you "seat time" qualified? If so, I would also be interested in participating in a "seat time" event.

BTW, I think Summit Point raised the price of their FATT events to $175.
