What?!!? What dealership did you take it to? Did you tell them you were racing?

I wasn't racing, nor did I mis-shift, and a valve in my #1 cylinder broke and did some dancing with the piston. My guess is that the valve spring failed, let the valve open too much and kissed the piston. AHM says I overreved by misshifting. Bastards...

So this happened 08/18/2001 and I'm still battling. That's right, almost a year. AHM has been served papers and we're waiting for their lawyers to contact mine. I hired the lawyer that wrote the CA Lemon Law, Norman Taylor.

Congrats on getting yours replaced. I'm am VERY interested in the happenings of your claim and would appreciate any help you'd be able to give me in throwing this in AHM's face.

BTW, I only had 7100 miles on her after only 3 months. <sigh> Now she just sits parked in my parking spot. I miss driving her...
