s2kJer,

Last month I saw ceo2b/Dave work on his JDM key and install immobilizer chip. I would definitely recommend using a dremmel tool.

You should PM Dave or he more than likely post on this thread giving you advice.

Good Luck

I watched CEO 2B put it in last month too. The funniest thing I have seen in a while. I think he would have liked to drill through my head from my comments.

It did look good after he was done and I would like to get one too.

Thanks for the replies guys!!!!
Now all I have to do is track down a buddy with a dremel and a place to do it at. I have heard that the key is really hard to hold on to and gets hot while cutting. I bet a good vice would fix that!!!

I will post some pics when I get it done for you guys to see....

Just did the install this afternoon...
It went well, but the immobilizer in my 02 key looked nothing like the ones I saw pics of on here. It looked more like a vitamin capsule. I guess Honda changed them recently. Still have to get the key cut. Will keep you all posted on if it works or not....

Go to any Honda dealer and have them use the manual punch. You'll get a better cut, won't be trusting Home Depot with a $50 key, and they most likely won't charge you.
