Default Need help finding specific hub rings.

Today I just wanted to test fit my TE37s. I have the sets of hub rings and a 3mm spacer from T1R for the rear. The hub rings I have have a part on them that is not contacting the hub when the spacer is on. To show what I am talking about I took a few quick (crappy) pics pointing to what I am talking about.

I want to know if I can get hub rings that do not have that part that is sunk in. I need them to come straight out and be flush.

I don't know if I am explaining this right, but if you somewhat understand, please help.

Every metal hub centric ring I have ever seen is like that.

I have seen some plastic hub centric rings that are square in that area.

I assume because you are using that spacer its pushing the wheel out too far for the hub centric ring to make contact because of that beveled edge?

You will be fine without hub centric rings...

you should get hubcentric spacers, then put the hub rings on the spacer.

Are there any in 3mm sizes? I want to be able to run a 255 without fender mods.

Maybe I can take them somewhere and they can weld in a little but around that edge. It just sucks that I spent the money on crap that will not work...

i guess based on your pictures, would it be possible to put the hub ring on the car first, then the spacer? i mean would the spacer fit around the hub ring?

I am running a SMALL spacer, not one that will push the wheels out too much. I know everyone else will say they can not notice a 3mm spacer, but I honestly can on my car. I only got a 3mm spacer to flush up the wheels. I don't want to get a 10+ spacer because it would be too big and not let me run a 255.

Anyways, I can not install the spacer over the hub ring. I tried. Also, if I get plastic ones or rubber ones will there be a problem with them melting when I track the car?

If your dead set on running the spacers then I think the plastic ones will be fine. I have them but i dont track my car. You will also be fine not running any like 99% of people do.

Well, what are the negatives of not running them? I mean, there is a lot of space between the 64.1 hub and the 73 wheels... Not a lot, but enough for me to be skeptical.

I don't have rings on the wheels I have on the car now, but I can feel a vibration that I suspect may be because of there being no hub rings. The wheels on the car now have a larger than 73 center bore. They balance up great, so I know it's not from that.

Does anyone have the Ichiba 5mm spacers? They look like they have a built in hub ring...

Anymore help out there?
