For anyone with a blown motor...
If you guys remember my thread from a while back... this was the project I was working on:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=752844

For those that don't know, that's the ~300HP 3.7L V6 out of the CL Type S.
I was NOT involved in this particular car, mind you, but I've been putting some R&D effort into swapping a J series Honda V6 engine into the S. Well, I was working on it and intending to be the first, but it looks like the guys over at HPD beat me to it.
I am still looking for a guinea pig in the DFW area as I would like to do this and prototype a kit for it. Given that the J series engines grow on trees, and are cheap in junkyards, it makes a potential great alternative to a F2xC swap for people that have blown up their motors or are looking for something cheap to play with.
I am willing to all but comp the labor involved for the first development car, I would probably just charge as if it were a normal F2xC engine swap. I'm looking for someone to provide the shell and make the investment in the engine and parts, which will be much cheaper than any F2xC you will find used or in a junkyard.
On top of the price, the "cheap" 250hp J35's which are in the Odyssey, MDX, Pilot, Ridgeline, and now Accord, can generate as much as 300whp with nothing more than i/h/e which any S2k swap would require.
For more info, see my posts starting at the end of page 2 of the thread above, or shoot me a PM.
I'll be doing this to my car (as soon as I clear out the current 3 cars I am working on) if no one volunteers.

That's the J37A4 Motor from the new 2009+ TL SH-AWD. 3.7L i-vtec. 305 hp/275 tq. First SOHC J-Series with Vtec on intake and exhaust cams. Neat stuff. I think the weight difference between smaller J-series (3.0/3.2) and F2x is around 75-80 pounds, not sure about the larger ones. Its a big motor I wonder if they were still able to keep it behind the front axle for the FM layout.
'taco will have to change his plate 7KWEEE though

Good luck with the swap, Todd. I'd still love to see you develop an LSx swap, but I know you're stuck on keeping that mad tite VTEC, yo.

and just a day after we were talking about it, Todd... awesome.
A J series motor in an S2000 would be so much fun to drive. I had an 01 3.2 CL Type-S and was the 2nd most fun car I have owned.
Like you mentioned they respond amazingly to breather mods (I/H/E)
