Default 07 S2 AP2 Turbo Haltech ecu start up video & pics

Here is a friend's 07 S2000(AP2) start up video. It's running with the Haltech Sprint 500 but retains the factory ecu for DBW, VSA, control etc.
It's a stock motor with a custom turbo kit. Presently it's running on the stock returnless fuel system except for the 1000cc fuel injectors.
Tuning will begin once the fuel pump, external regulator, upgraded fuel feed and return lines along with a beefier clutch are installed.

Is there any particular reason why he went with this ECU choice instead of a Hondata FlashPro?

BTW, I'm not an FI guy, but 1000 cc injectors sounds like overkill for a stock block. How much boost is he planning to run?

It's going to be on E85. I was told 500+ was the goal.

It's a custom kit from AWD Motorsports. The owner works there.
