Default Custom Suede Mugen HT Headliner

This is a headliner we're doing for Casey (Screen name is CaseyGW). We plan on selling our headliners exclusively through Asura but this headliner is being done to show what we can do. This thread will be updated as we progress.

We are using Ultrasuede from a company called Toray from Michigan. This material is much softer and more plush than Alcantara and has a much longer life. All around it's a better material. We will be embossing the Mugen logo in it as well.

The Ultrasuede:

1/5- Here are a few pics of the top stripped and taped up. The tape is for our template for our "mass produced" headliners that we're going to be making that can be customer installed. Keep in mind that Casey's headliner is completely custom to his hard top.

Also, we're definitely going to be looking at doing headliners for the Spoon and OEM hard tops as well, just have to find folks willing to let us use them to create a kit.

Without turning this into a commercial post since we are not a sponsor, regarding pricing for the "kit" headliners. Keep in mind that these are hand made, one at a time, and not thrown through a machine. Allen is the only one in the shop currently that can fabricate these headliners. That will reflect in the pricing but we want to keep it feasible for folks. Also, just to have it stated, that obviously different materials and such will adjust the cost of the headliner.

Well jdmjeff. You can't get more jdm'er than that half-lip. It may look like a bass, but is functional for what it's purpose is.

Please keep comments on topic, thank you.

As stated in my post, the S belongs to CaseyGW. Mine is in the background of the first picture.

Isn't it illegal to put on the Mugen logo without they're permission?
