Default Cluster Retrofit

So my Ap2 has been running on an 01 ECU for about 10 months now, no problem so far. Last month sold my Defi X HUD and I bought an AP1 cluster and pigtails with 46k on Ebay for my cluster retrofit project. I spent the last month researching and soldering the wires to the custom pin connectors I made for the Ap2 Plugs. My car currently have about 39K and I'll drive until its 46k to make the switch.

The problem: Everything matches ok, except that I couldn't find a match wire on the Ap2 for the Ap1 wire D12 (black/yellow) "Charging System Indicator (feed). I noticed people who does this mod on their civic/rsx connect this wire to Ignition Power. Any ideas guys?

Run D12 off the AP1 cluster and tap into D16 off the AP1 cluster. You should have D16 already wired to A3 on the AP2 harness side.

no worries, if you need any other help w/ the cluster swap...just ask. I have done my fair share of S2K clusters in various cars.

If you got one of these it would have been easier. Plugs right in. Cost me $250 USD from Great Britain. Good work regardless.

I tried to search for one of the UK cluster on this forum and ebay for a long time. How exactly did you get yours?

You know, you could have swapped the dash harness and then it would have just plugged in.
