Definitely, I love Rutland Water. It was where one of the first ever S2000 meets was in the UK

I am. I think there are a few of us around the area, I know Penelope Pitstop lives in Stamford. When were you thinking of?

EDIT I stumbled across a great road just south of Rutland Water the B672. It starts in Morcott and heads south. Lots of very sharp corners and long straights, and a very impressive viaduct to look at. Have a look at the link and follow the road south and you can see for yourselves. LINKY

I was thinkingof the springtime as a starter.I don't know that road, but I'll try it. My main concern was perhaps a lack of good stretches of road.I as thinking the Whitwell Centre could be a meeting point, or the other side by Normanton Church. There's a pub there...in fact a few.I'll dig them out.

I was looking for the old Megameet 4 route, we held it near Rutland and had a route which was nice, but I can't find it!

Might be interested depending on date. Keep trying to find an excuse to walk round Rutland Waters again so could make a weekend of it.

I was thinking more March time. Not many fast roads round there but good ones nevertheless.Found the old route.AE?Thought of it more as a social meet in great surroundings.
It's a long trek round RW..about 17mls the short route.
