Default FlashPro AF and AF Corrected values VS LM-1

I installed my Innovate Motorsports LM-1 wideband O2 today so that I could validate the AF and AF Corr values in the FlashPro datalogs. I've suspected that the AF Corr value was reading way too lean for over a month, but I've finally proved it!

I'll post the screen shots tomorrow, but here are the numbers:

AF = 12.6
LM-1 = 12.9
AF Corr = 13.7

BTW, the LM-1 sensor was installed in a bung just inches after the OEM primary O2 in the header.

Hondata, Please make the AF correction configurable in FlashPro Manager!

great job gernby...really appreciate you for doing that. Now we know to use the a/f reading instead of the a/f corr.

AFAIK your wideband should read the same as your flashpro , if not you have a voltage offset .

I'd be interested to know what you are talking about regarding a voltage offset. However, my wideband is reading very close to what the OEM wideband is reading. The discrepancy comes from the "AF Corr" value that the FlashPro calculates. Hondata believes the stock sensor is non-linear on the rich side, so they created the AF Corr value to be linear. I believe the S2000 (or at least MY S2000) is different.

I believe your AF Corr value probably is lean also, but the image you posted doesn't prove it. Hondata believes the AF value shows more rich than it really is when it is richer than stoich, so they "correct" the value by making it show leaner than AF. Basically, the image you posted is "as designed" by Hondata.

The purpose of this thread is to show that an aftermarket wideband O2 installed near the OEM wideband shows that the AF value is more correct than the AF Corr value.

where did you install your wideband inside the car? I'm thinking of picking up another PLX a/f mx300 and install it in the passenger storage area

And have it angle towards me but it will be kind of dangerous to look at and keep an eye on the road.

I didn't "install" the wideband permanently. I just temporarily installed it so that I could validate the AF and AF Corr values. I want my enterior to look stock, and don't really even see the benefit of having all the extra guages on a well tuned car.
