St.Louis Get-together
Anyone in area interested in meeting for a cold brew some Friday or Saturday night at Big Chiefs on Old Manchester in Wildwood? If cool can use outside patio or inside in air if hot. If anyone is interested, let me know and will can set a day and time.

FYI St. Louis people:
While picking up my S2000 (after getting the spark plug TSB) I was talking with a guy in the part department and he noted that Frank Leta Honda has done three engine rebuilds on S2000s. One was because some kid over-rev'd it. Another one was because the oil drain plug fell out (and yes the dealership did then oil change just days before). The final one was a 2002 model and is still in debate with Honda because the guy ran out of oil. He had just under 7k miles, and I assume hadn't bothered to check it along the way (since he hadn't reached 7,500 miles). He also mentioned that he thought they had done a tranny rebuild but that was about it (for S2000s).
Wonder how many S2000 engine rebuilds our other local dealers have done?

We had a small get together last Saturday at Chevys ( 5 of us)...go to the Gateway Club forum for details. We had a short drive last Saturday after a visit and are planning some more, soon. In the meantimem if anyone wants to meet for a brew, etc, let me know I would welcome the opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts. According to the Missouri Department of Conservation, the peak time for fall colors is going to be mid October. Go to http://www.conservation.state.mo.us/nathis...s/seasons/fall/
so see the most up to date forecast.
We might want to think about a drive Sunday, 13th or next Sat or Sun 19th or 20th.
Obviously this is very short notice for most of us, but it would be a shame to miss a fall drive in the S.
I encourage everyone to attend one of these weekend drives. The only thing more beautiful than the fall colors would be 10-20 S2000s in a row driving down a tree-lined road. Think about the picture that would make.
