Default Oh Sh#$, My S is now a Suamarine

Well I hit some Hight water, and now it is Hydro Locked. It has already been towed to JEH And I am now waiting on the news (bad I am sure).
So Wes, how long does it take for JEH to replace the motor?

It's easier to replace a long block than to do it the way we did. But also, you'll have to mess with your insurance company. I'd say you're looking at 4-8 weeks.

Jshahan,

Do you have an AEM or INJEN intake?

If so, hopefully the water just clogged up the pipes.

If you don't have a AEM and INJEN...just how high was the water you were driving in?

The wate went from my tires to my hood. It was quick. My S is Bone Stock. Once we pushed it out of the water, it was leaking oil quickly. I opened the stock airbox, and it was 1/4 full of water. I also pulled the air pipe from the Intake manifold and there was water there as well.

I bought it @ Gillman, I tried to buy from JEH, but I could not get them down anywhere near MSRP.
