Hey all. I wanted to paint my stock AP1 wheels a daker silver, so here they are, Silverstone Metallic wheels on my 02 suzuka. I think it looks absolutely awesome. I also re-painted my front lip too. I got all the paint at www.automotivetouchup.com if anyone wanted to know. Enjoy!

 

looks sick. i was wondering how much paint did it take to repaint your front lip?

 

the lip looks a bit darker. or it could be the pictures. can you get a upclose of the bumper and lip?

Thanks! I just had 1 can of suzuka, 1 can of Silverstone, and 1 clear. The 1 can of Silverstone was enough to do 3-4 coats on all 4 wheels and center caps. They have 2 good coats of clear on them. The lip takes hardly any paint. It has about 4 light coats of base and 2 good coats of clear also. I have an almost full can of suzuka still that I did my lip with. I even have a little silverstone left after my wheels surprisingly! So 1 can is way more than enough for just the lip.

 

The lip is SLIGHTLY darker than the car, since that is brand new paint on the lip, and the paint on the car is 8 years old. Alot of body shops cant even match suzuka well, so im really happy with the results. I think I might have a little bit closer pic of the front, ill try to find it.

 

thanks for the info. planning on redoing my lip also. i wonder how much cans will it take to redo the whole front bumper...lol
