Default NEW VENTED Carbon Fiber Hood -- PICS!!!

A lot of us have been waiting for an Amuse-style vented CF hood, and I believe I've found the solution!!

Introducing the Buddy Club Vented Carbon Fiber Hood for the S2000! Here are a few pics of the hood installed on my car -- I apologize in advance for the poor quality/lighting of the pics, but these were rush photos that I took in my apartment parkade.

And here's a close-up to give you guys an idea of where the vent is relative to the front of the car:

The carbon fiber weave is excellent and I couldn't find any imperfections -- even slight ones! Even in the edges of the hood, and where the vent is, which is notorious for imperfections in the CF weave, the carbon fiber remains whole and perfect! Fitment is excellent, and the hood comes with the holes for the windshield washer nozzles.

The hood is COMPLETELY carbon fiber. It is NOT a fiberglass mold with a CF overlay! The underside of the hood also comes with the stock hood's underlay to maintain a "clean" look!

Finally, a cost-effective and quality subsitute to the Amuse CF hood that a lot of us have been craving for, but couldn't get due to availability and astronomical pricing!

Please PM me for more details!

Has anyone said that you have an incredible S2000 specimen lately?

So do the vents let water go through? If so, what will the water drip on? Just curious.

ya, it looks more like the j's hood, although I did hear that it was made by the company who manufactures the amuse hood, don't know if it's true or not, one big difference is that the amuse is dry carbon. still looks good though!

I do know that the company who makes this and the Amuse hood is called First Moulding Ltd.

I always thought the J's vent is higher up on the hood, but I see that the center CF piece in the vent looks like the J's center-piece.

I will take better pictures tomorrow and post them!

Could someone with the J's take "similar" shots as the ones posted above so we could have a better comparison?

Look very clean and similar to J's. Can you take picts of the underside and in the light?

I believe the price is around $1000 being on the high side.
I will contact my LA agent and try to arrange a bottomline price for these hoods if anyone is interested.
