S2KUK Airfield Day 23 May 2010
S2K UK has teamed up with Car Limits to bring you this S2K only airfield day.
Places are strictly limited to 22 cars. This event is open to everyone.
The event will be subsidised by S2K UK for paid members who will receive a discount. Please see here for the differences between S2KI and S2K UK membership:

Paid S2KUK Members £40.00
Non S2K UK Members £48.00
The link to the payment has now been PM'd to people who have confirmed first. If you have not received a PM from me please let me know as soon as possible
You will need to enter your S2K UK membership number for the discounted rate.
Due to the high demand for this event, if payment is not made by the 4 April 2010 you will lose your place on the list and it will be offered to those on the reserve list.
Once all payments have been made S2K UK will make a lump sum payment to Car Limits.
As a special treat, Andrew Walsh, the director of Car Limits and a legend in Lotus circles will be at the event to provide guidance and instruction.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY
All attendees are booked in for 23 May 2010 on a 1 Person Day using your own car.
DIRECTIONS
North Weald Airfield is off Junction 7 on the M11. Follow the signs for North Weald Market and this will take you straight to the airfield. There will be only 1 gate open on the day, next to the Air Traffic Control Tower. The person on the gate will direct you to where you will need to be.
You will need to bring your driving licence with you on the day. There are food facilities located on the airfield. The day will begin at 9.00am and finish at approximately 4.00pm.
Please note that as your vehicle will be cornering at speed, you may need to inflate your tyres more than you would normally. Vehicles such as the Lotus Elise, Caterham etc are usually ok as they are lightweight and designed for high speed cornering, but cars such as Subaru Imprezas, Porsches, Madzas, TVRs etc are recommended to inflate their tyres to the maximum stated on the tyre itself to protect the side wall of the tyre. There is a garage just off the M11 roundabout (on the A414 towards Harlow) where you can do this before the event. We usually have a tyre pressure gauge so that you can decrease the tyres before your journey home!
ITINERARY
09.00am
Meet on the airfield. Once most people have arrived there will be a briefing by the instructor.
9.30am - 4.00pm
A large group day with the following activities;
High speed bend.
Small circuit.
Medium Circuit
Sprint Circuit included weather/time permitting
Lunch will be at a pub close to the airfield, at around 12:00pm. The cost of lunch is not included in the price

I am going on Sunday too, and probably won't want to do another one so soon (rather my tyres may not want to...).
Blast - 20 s's all together! I'll just make do with the 5 of us this week (no offence chaps
