Thumbs up Honda VSA recall - effect 06+ S2000s?

http://www.autoblog.com/2010/03/16/honda-r...-brake-problem/

So Honda is recalling its VSA equipped Elements and Odysseys for a VSA brake system problem, so I got to thinking, does Honda use the same system on all its cars? Might 06+ S2000s be at risk?

I doubt that it would effect the S2000 though.

If it's at risk then they will do a recall on it. No need to worry till then.

Yes; a recall is due to an oversight by the company that does either not meet certain regulations, or of safety concern. In which case it doesn't matter if you're the first owner or the 10th, the recall is valid.

I dunno, but I'm not a fan of this VSA. The concept yes, but on such a hard core sports car you would think it would allow for SOME wheelspin and oversteering.

This system is more aggressive than the one on my mom's volvo station wagon

You sure it's the system that's more aggressive? I would lean towards that the s2000 is much more aggressive which would trigger traction control more often?

...and soon we're going to find out that Honda's parts supplier was the same as Toyota's. I doubt we have anything to worry about, our cars were built and assembled in Honda's best production plant in JDM land. Mine was built right along side the NSX, build quality has got to be top notch.
