Will there be a MOM10?

I've checked the calendars and do not see any info about the Meet Of Midwest for this year.

Anybody know anything?

 

If there is one, I'm not organizing it.

 

Not from our group this year. I'm still recovering from surgery and will not be able to make a drive this long until fall or spring next year.

 

JulieU and 8BALL .........I appreciate all the time, effort, as well as a few hassles you two have given in the past.

I have a lot of fond memories of some of those MOM's.

 

These will happen again very soon - You can count on it.

 

I could maybe put something together or at least assist. if someone else has an idea. We need some kind of mid-west event even if its only one during the summer rather than spring and fall. If there is any interest at all it needs to happen and I am willing to do anything I can.

uhh, yea, all of you know that i'm always down to drive 6+ hr's in a 4.77 geared screaming Honda just to follow you around in the middle of nowhere MO (Or wherever it will be lol)

Spring MOM09 was my first S2000 meet shortly after buying my S, and after following Julie and Matt around all day (Funny, we always seem to be at the top of the list lol) I knew that i had made the best car purchase of my life, along with making some of the best friends of my life... even if you're all damn far away haha

Uhhh, but yea, i'm sure we can figure something out, even if it's a "smaller" meet like the Fall MOM09... Or maybe a KC/STL/SoMo supermeet lawl


Also, Julie, it really sucks that some people had to ruin your enthusiasm for putting these meets together for us, after all, that enthusiasm is exactly what makes this community special.
If you ever come across a way to raise that money through us, let us know! I would definitely buy an overpriced JulieU designed T-shirt or something lol

Yeah, but then there's people like you that make it all worthwhile. I can't really blame the participants that didn't pay up. Rather, I blame the KC area restaurants who refused to accomodate us the way we should have been (letting us pay separately).
