Default Change your gauge colors! (pics)

So after reading about everyone wanting to change their gauge colors, I got into it...

Here are the results: (taken w/a Sony digital cam that oversaturates the colors; also the brightness is actually totally even)

Blue (most requested):

White:

Green (!?):

Red (*):

Purple (my ex-girl's pick):

for reference, a masked stock version:

These are all accomplished with an assortment of filters... (real easy to install--no wiring)

(*) - The red one didn't photograph well at all--the true color is really a cool deep blood red color.

So watcha' think? Should I put together a kit?

Randy

Randy,

Amazing job as usual. I can guarantee many S2K owners, including myself, would be interested in purchasing a kit. Keep us informed.

Impressive!

How would it work? Is it a simple overlay or would it still require removing the cluster?

Let's see, unscrew 9 screws, loosen 2 bolts, remove 2 nuts, disconnect 4 connectors...

Insert them within the gauge cluster.

PS: We have multiple "Randy's" here...I'm the one that did the mirror/blindspot removal mod/faq (still offline I believe...)

I think everyone would like to see bigger pictures of the colors (I know I would)......How white is the white and how dark is the blue?

The only other thing I see is that there is no REDLINE on the tach. Is there a way to fix that?????

That blue is damn cool. I can just see it in my Monte Carlo Blue. Perhaps a lighter shade for the 'redline' portion?
