Default CT engineering Intake

So I ordered a CT Engineering Intake for my 06 Laguna, but I think they may have sent me the wrong one. During the installation I noticed that elbow that comes out of the Intake Manifold has some kind of sensor (circled in red). My issue is that there is no where to plug this sensor into the CT elbow. Does anyone have this intake on an 06+ model installed? Is there a difference between the 00-05 and 06-09 intakes. Thanks

They sent you wrong one.
You need one for DBW 06+.
06+ version should have hole drilled for IAT sensor.

You could drill it with dremel, but i would send it back to get the right one.

The elbows are the SAME. What you need for the 06+ is 2 half circle pieces CT makes and a clamp. Its an IAT extender housing.

It basically extends the tube already on the intake and makes it longer in order to house the IAT.

Also you need the offset T/B hose from T/B to intake tube. That is for 06+

If you bought the 00-05 kit new, return it and buy the 06+ kit. if you bought it used, you can buy the new parts needed from CT.

good luck!

I ordered the 06+ but apparently CT shipped the wrong one. I've contacted them and they are sending a replacement intake. Thanks for all the help!

Here's an update...I got my new intake from CT last week and finally got it on the car. The neck is same as the intake for the AP1. The only difference is there is additional hardware to adapt the IAT sensor to the intake. I had to make minor adjustments to the lid to prevent rubbing on the radiator stay, other than that it's a fairly straight forward install.

Here is an upclose pic of how the IAT sensor is connected to the intake.

how do you like the Comptech intake? throttle response / butt dyno / sound volume and tone? obviously it looks great.

also, can you give any more specifics about the modifications you had to do to the lid?
