There will be lots of twisties on the way up to the top of the pass.

At the top of the pass we pass through lava beds.

The Dee Wright Observatory at the top of the pass:

We will stop there to enjoy the panorama and to celebrate Amy’s39th Birthday .

Then it is on to Sisters and north through the Willamette National Forest to Detroit.

Along the way we will stop for a picnic lunch. Then it is up through Breitenbush and the Mt. Hood National Forest.

We will follow the Clackamas River down to Estacada.
…
Its all over when we reach Clackamas.
