Default Goodbye Motegi :(

Between back pain and poor finances I have chosen to trade in the S2000 (and Civic). It's something I have had to think about for months now and being in pain helps to a small degree in making the decision slightly easier.

I wanted to provide some sort of explanation for why I will not be around much anymore, it's just too painful to visit the site right now. I haven't stopped crying since yesterday.

I have a few items I would like to sell - I will post in For Sale thread but for now,

S2000 logo car cover SOLD TO RICH
S2000 silver license plate frame
Helm manual 2000-2007 model S2000s
OEM tires with about 5K on them set of 4, just tires, no wheels
Gently used black OEM floor mats SOLD TO JEREMY
Safe Racer full face helmet - cleaned after every use

All must go, I can't stand looking at this. No reasonable offer refused.

Zippy Dave will be taking over visor plaques to cover the air bag warning labels.

Dave expressed interest in taking over the S2000 visor plaque business - Dave if you email me I will send you the contact info and misc you need to do this: eemerson@wcvt.com

I'm very sorry to hear this.

Please come back and visit us. I think everyone will agree that you don't have to own an S2000 to be a fan and a member of Upstate.

I am so sorry Ellen.

I agree with what Mark said, just because you won't have the S doesn't
mean you can't still hang out with the gang! We would all miss you a lot
if we lost you as a friend.

Does that mean you won't be coming to Knapp? I don't know if Tom was planning
to come or not with his busy schedule but I have an open seat if you wanted to
go with me, assuming of course you aren't planning on going yourself before
you sell the S.

Ellen. I know how hard this is for you. Don't let it stop you from being here. Heck I was on here with a civic si for the longest time.

These tough times will pass and maybe you will find yourself a nice used ap1/2. Until that time you can drive my s on all our meets. I'll drive the si. No you are not going anywhere. We need you to stick around. Upstate could not do without Tadashi.

Wow, this was a complete surprise. What are you going to drive if you get rid of the Civic and the S? The Prelude?

Ellen,

Knowing how much you the S this really saddens me.

As the others are saying dont leave us, your part of the fabric that makes up upstate and not having you here leaves us naked.

Ill email you.

This has got to be tough on you, as I have pondered the thought myself in case I ever had to part ways.

But you definitely should not leave here. We all look up to you for inspiration and some good cracks now and then.

If you still have the floor mats, I wouldn't mind picking them up. My driver-side has some wear marks on it. I won't be in the area until next weekend though so they will have to wait.

No matter what happens Ellen, I think something exciting will happen for you in the future. The S is not over.

Wow Ellen you'll be missed. You were the first person I met when I joined S2KI. Stay in touch.

Sorry to hear, Ellen. You have to do what you have to do. There will be S2000s out there for a long time to come. Someday, you can give a home to another one. Hang in there.

Be sure to visit often Ellen. I'll always remember the meets you organized in Vermont.....I hope someday you are able to pick up another silver S.
