This is a bit premature since my car hasn't arrived yet, but hopefully next week I will be driving my new (for me) 2007 S2K. All the shippers are tied up with the Barrett Jackson Auction - it may take up to 14 days to get my car

I like the Volk TE37 wheels and was wondering what size would be better for the track: 17X7.5 +48 & 17X8.5 +50 or 17x7.5" +50 front, 17x9" +65 rear.

I plan on running R888's. I'm still researching the sizes.

Are you competing? What are your limitations? What do you want to accomplish?

 

I just like running HPDE's and I want to have a good tire wheel combination. I'll incrementally make slight improvements to the car as I go along, but would like to start with the wheel/tire combination. I like the look of the Volks and the R888 always worked well on my Exige, so I thought I would stick with them.

 

I, personally, would buy 17x9 +65 all around. It will allow you go grow your setup incrementally. With the stock suspension you can stick with a tire stagger (225 front, 245 rear) or (235 front, 255 rear) or move to non-staggered (245 or 255 all around) or wait to do that until you get a coilover or sway bar upgrade.

You can fit this with no fender modifications and the only down side would be turning radius at the front, but that isn't a concern on the track.

I wish I had a set.

Keep in mind, depending on what wheel sizing you go with and staggered/non-staggered, it's going to change your suspension setup.
