I don't know what Bettye has communicated about this, but since I live right up the street from Arlington Cemetery (in Rosslyn), I thought I would put out some hotel info for those coming from out of town for John's funeral (Fri, Aug 6th at 3 pm). It is tourist season, so you need to make reservations ASAP. Here is a short list of hotels in Rosslyn, which is right across the Key and Roosevelt bridges from DC. Very convenient location (with parking) for those who want to spend some additional time in the area. You can, of course, stay farther out from the city, but Rosslyn is the best location all around. There is a subway station, too. I assume there will be some kind of service at one of the chapels at Ft Myer prior to the burial, but don't have that info. Anyone?
